Our suite of services includes CFO Leadership, Outsourced Finance, and Accounting management, and Mergers &Acquisitions Support. We are currently hiring for a Business Development Associate to support our Sales Team. 

The Business Development Associate will be responsible for engagement sales. This includes executing the CFO Alliance sales process with the firm’s management team with consulting expertise and advice that allows them to create, manage and increase client engagements, revenue, and profitability for the firm. As the sales SME, you will lead the way in strengthening and expanding our CFO Alliance mission and vision through providing quality assurance on all sales deliverables. You will lead the overall sales engagement economics, engagement pipeline, and translation of strategic needs of the firm into executable long-range sales programs and projects. This is accomplished through effectively communicating objectives, providing continual support, and coaching to firm management’s success.

The perfect candidate will have experience with a consultative selling process, relationship oriented, passionate about serving clients and possess an Entrepreneurial spirit.  At CFO Alliance, we create clients who are raving fans, so having the right fit from soft skills is just as if not more important than the technical skills

New Sales and Sales Management
  • Find and close new opportunities 
  • Manage consistent pipeline of new business 
  • Manage and expand partner network
  • Lead sales process for firm
  • Develop unique ways to win opportunities 
  • Consistently extend the CFO Alliance brand by demonstrating commitment, authenticity, transformation, and evolution
  • Oversee and execute process improvements and the development of procedures, methods, and tools in support of sales
  • Develop and nurture real, down-to-earth connections with clients and CFO Alliance team members
  • Review sales deliverables in accordance with CFO Alliance standards
  • Monitors sales/retention production standards
  • Accurately update CRM on a consistent basis 
  • Prepare and Present presentations to C Level executives

Client Service
  • Ensuring timely and accurate sales contracts and proposals
  • Manage client relationships
  • Expand business and cross sell solutions into accounts 
  • Transition information from sales process to delivery team 
  • Renew contracts and keep consistent revenue within client accounts 
  • Corporate Initiatives
  • Become SME and leverage expertise for training and coaching
  • Gain referrals, inbound sales opportunities, and client testimonials
  • Develop mutually beneficial strategic alliances through networking relationships

Requirements: Please apply if this is YOU!
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 5+ years of experience of B2B outside sales, knowledge of finance and accounting functions and roles
  • Proven track record of hitting or exceeding quotas as well as driving leads through partner networks 
  • Advanced proficiencies in Microsoft Office Suite, Sales and Project management software
  • Strong strategic sales knowledge, particularly sales management, sales performance assessment and training

Preferred: If you have these, a BIG plus for you and us!
  • Sandler sales methodology experience
  • HubSpot or other CRM Tools
  • Knowledge of Private Equity/Merger and Acquisition market 
  • Candidate that can be local to the Tampa Bay Area
