Our suite of services includes CFO Leadership, Outsourced Finance, and Accounting management, and Mergers & Acquisitions Support. We are currently hiring for a Bookkeeping Consultant to support our High Growth Entrepreneurial client base.

 

The Bookkeeper Consultant serves as the outsourced accounting specialist, for one or more of our clients. This role will partner with other team members in the firm to provide personalized support.

 

The perfect candidate has proven experience and success in Accounting Operations. At CFO Alliance, we create clients who are raving fans, so having the right fit from soft skills is just as if not more important than the technical skills.

 

You will be:

  • Performing month-end closing procedures for various clients
  • Producing general ledger information that is aligned with our clients’ business models
  • Use advanced system functions to expedite processing time and optimize reporting
  • Use Excel to report, summarize, reconcile and analyze data
  • Extract, analyze and interpret high volumes of data from various sources, including accounting and operating systems
  • Assist with creating cash flow models, budgets, forecasts, and other analysis using advanced Excel techniques
  • Identify variances and trends in financial data
  • Provide information to management by assembling and summarizing data, preparing reports, making presentations of findings, and expressing recommendations
  • Use prior experiences to develop creative approaches for solving issues
  • Use critical thinking skills to identify exceptions and errors in data and make corrections
  • Collaborate with team members to develop solutions to complex business challenges
  • Actively participate in team meetings, anticipating and providing ideas for process improvement and opportunities
  • Travel on occasion to local clients in Tampa Bay Area

Now for the fine print:

Requirements: Please apply if this is YOU!

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required; A minimum of 2+ years of progressive experience in accounting roles

Advanced Excel and modeling skills (pivots, lookups, complex formulas, and macro capability)

Strong accounting & finance knowledge and experience (month/year-end close, general ledger, financial systems, financial reporting, consolidations, cash flow modeling, reconciliations, AR, AP etc.)

 

Preferred: If you have these, a BIG plus for you and us!

Public or private accounting/consulting experience

Multiple industry experience

Private equity and/or mergers & acquisitions experience
